About Me

Hello! My name is Ng Eng Ki. I am a student at Temasek Polytechnic and am currently taking a diploma in Apparel Design and Merchandising.

 

I have been interested in fashion and clothes as young as I was five. I loved seeing pretty clothes and I had the thought of being a fashion designer one day when I grew older. I started being hands-on when I was a bit older; I would make my own pouches from felt and fabric that I could easily buy or just from red envelopes I received from Chinese New Year.

I am currently learning the basics of the industry like drafting, sewing and making patterns. I enjoy designing and making my creations come to life and aspire to work in this industry in the future. I am keen to learn about the behind-the-scenes in this industry that I am unable to learn in school.
